A person was taken to hospital after being rescued by the fire service in Accrington. Four fire engines from Hyndburn, Great Harwood, Chorley, and Preston, as well as an aerial ladder platform from Preston, attended the scene on Grange Lane at around 8.30pm last night (May 21).
