Warning as major Blackburn route to close for a week

A section of Accrington Road is closed between Devon Road and Shadsworth Road due to resurfacing works. Motorists heading to Oswaldtwistle and Accrington and those heading into Blackburn from those areas will be affected by the closure. A sign at the location says the road will be closed for a week.
