A man has been killed by his own XL Bully in Accrington, police have said. Police were called at 9.30pm on Tuesday by the ambulance service to reports of a dog attack at a house in Ashley Court. A 53-year-old man, who has since been named as David Daintree, was found dead at the scene. He has been confirmed as the owner of the dog.
